Landscape Series

Tactile Corpusles / Landscape series  Our skin is an amazing organ. It is covered with more than five million nerve ends, or tactile corpuscles, that react to every sensation: warmth, cold, touch, tingling, tickling, and pain. We are built to touch and be touched. This haptic need is a subject that fascinates Sanne Muiser.

For the landscape series Sanne got inspired by her favourite piece of the Netherlands, the Dutch landscape, with her intensity of colors between tussocks of grass, flax, hemp and clouds. A quiet surrounding, but for Muiser it is ecstasy. This is why Sanne Muiser has chosen for this selection of fibers to needlefelt. The result are highly tactile fashion and interior fabrics a reminiscent of fur.
