Sanne Muiser is a Dutch designer, graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Her designs are refined, sensual and wayward. Characteristic are her combinations of materials and invitational shapes. Sanne is an energetic designer, inspired by nature and high & low culture surrounding her.

For her internship Sanne went to New York and after graduating she started as a freelancer for Claudy Jongstra. Currently, next to the design work for her own studio Pluis, Sanne is also curating an exhibition called ‘ For Play’ , that is revolving around the topic of intimacy, sensuality and design. ‘ For Play’ will take place during Dutch Design Week  2016.

Sanne’s designs were shown at exhibitions in and outside the Netherlands, such as “Earth Matters” curated by Lidewij Edelkoort (2015, Stockholm, Sweden) and “Touch Base”  curated by Ilse Crawford at Salone del Mobile (2016, Milan, Italy). Her series of eating utensils were adopted by the two michelin star restaurant de Kromme Watergang, Hoofdplaat, the Netherlands. Sanne is interviewed by avro’s Kunstuur (Arthour), a dutch national television program about her eating utensils last april 2016. You can click here to see the program.
